"Memories are Wonderful"
Have you ever loved someone,, your heart like red hot embers,
looking inside the deeper regions, as your mind, it remembers.
Simple thoughts and pleasures, a glance, a smile,, or a feel,
moments that we treasure most, to the soul these events appeal.
wildflowers they blossom freely as love is in the air,
nothing in this perceived world, of beauty can compare.
To the woman of my dreams, this lady of many faces,
laying down upon my chest, in comfort we travel places.
This I know was not a myth, as many priceless joys we shared.
stories of our lives revealed, so many experiences we compared.
Where has all the time gone by, when blossoms they would glow,
perfumed flowers in the far off field , of love that no longer grows,
Memories are wonderful........................ Be happy for today.. Tom 11/07
