Copper Frame
i want to paint a burnished copper with black tones on a frame? Any recommendations about product/technique?
You may have seen this look in trendy stores. It's almost like a rubbed copper with black undertones. How can I achieve this look, what products might be available and what technique to use?
first paint the frame black---then, get a spounge and use THAT to BLOT the copper on top of the black.... it will give it a really good look.... but don't overdo the copper---dab the spounge in one spot, skip a little space (leaving it all black) and then dab the spounge again and alternate the spots but not quite in a checkerboard pattern... you can give it as MUCH or as little copper as you want....
