What's a good high performance battery/alternator for a 94 golf?
i'm currently wiring my system in my golf, i have a sony head unit, four boston acoustic interiors (the stock speakers out of an 89 audi), a 12 inch rockford sub and an 8 inch jl sub, and will shortly be adding two more bostons and a 10 inch mtx sub, and am afraid the battery/alternator i have now won't cut it. I was looking into getting an optima but they don't make any that will fit my car, anyone have another high performance battery that would do the trick, and could someone suggest some alternators to look into because i know nothing about high output alternators.
What kind of amps are you running? Can I also suggest doing the "the big 3 upgrade" ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p82xRzCr-lc )
