- Warriors by Erin Hunter
- Vampire Diaries by L.J.Smith
- Night World by L. J. Smith
- Percy Jackson and the Olympians by Rick Riordan
- Kissed By An Angel by Elizabeth Chandler
- Beka Cooper by Tamora Pierce
the inheritance cycle by Paolini was very good and there is a reason it was made into a movie (even though it pales in comparison to the books)
-the plot is very well developed and only gets more interesting int he following books
-the characters are likeable but are not the fake "perfect" characters in other books, they develop a lot as the story goes on.
-it is very well written
-i dont know what you like, but i REALLY liked these books, and can't wait until the 4th one is out. they just get better and better.
The pendragon series i wasn't to impressed with
the Warriors by Hunter are also a favorite of mine.
just so you know, they are mroe for tweens/teens.
the whole idea of these books (cats that talk and live in clans) seems silly, but give it a chance. they are very good. the characters are also well developed, and its not a little kid story. its an interesting perspective. i really like these books and can't wait for more.
Beka Cooper by Pierce.
Well, Tamora Pierce is one of my favorite authors, so thats reason enough for me. i read this one, and i really hope there is a sequel or series. if you've read any of her other series, i really like The Immortal series, The one about the Lioness (can't remember, maybe Song of the Lioness, something about a redhead girl named Alanna though) and the Protector of the Small Quartet or the one about Keladry. all are very good. Beka Cooper is a diffrent idea, because instead of a knight she is a "dog" which kind of protect the city and she is training to be one. it is very good and there is way more to the story than that. if you like this one, i highly suggest you try the others.
