How do i recreate a womans 1940's style turban / head wrap?
the very fashionable style of the 1940's and am desperate to recreate this look but cannot get the hang of it!!!
If anyone knows how to do this please help me!!!

I've been trying to do it as well, and have just found this on a forum where someone was asking the same question, haven't tried to yet but sounds as though it may work:
"Show myage now. Fold a square into a triangle, place the two loose ends together on top of your head at the front of your head by your forehead. Place the folded centre at the back of your neck and draw the ends around your head and tie half a knot . then pull the two loose ends already lying in your head through the half knot and tie off. The knot will then hold the pulled through piece in place. and tuck in the loose ends. or make a knot over the top of the loose ends and then just roll them back over the knot and tuck in."
